A hollow wrench is part of a reciprocating car engine. Its function is to control the opening and closing of the gate valve. There are two series of hydraulic wrenches: driveline hydraulic wrench and hollow hydraulic wrench. Hollow wrench structure
The main body of the camshaft is a cylindrical rod with the same length as the cylinder block. There are several different cams on the upper sleeve, which are used for data-driven control of the valves. One end of the camshaft is a rolling bearing as a fulcrum, and the other end is connected to the middle of the driving wheel.
The sides of the cam are egg-shaped. The purpose of the design scheme is to ensure that the cylinder has sufficient intake ports and exhaust pipes, especially to open and close the valves in the shortest possible time. In addition, fully considering the durability and operation stability of the automobile engine, the valve is not easy to cause great impact during the actual operation of opening/closing due to the whole process of acceleration and deceleration, otherwise it will lead to serious wear and tear of the valve, Noise elevation or other serious hazards.
Generally speaking, cams are matched to the valves of a straight car engine, while V or horizontally opposed engines are matched to each valve with one cam. Wankel car engines and valveless car engines, on the other hand, do not use cams, due to their special equipment.

Solving common faults of hollow wrench
Common problems with camshafts include abnormal wear, abnormal noise, and symptoms of abnormal wear before cracking, abnormal noise, and cracking.
(1) The camshaft is almost located at the end of the lubricating oil system of the automobile engine, and the lubrication is not strong. If the working pressure of the oil provided by the gasoline pump is insufficient due to the long-term use, or the oil cannot reach the camshaft due to the blockage of the grease safety channel, or the grease cannot enter the camshaft gap due to the excessive torque of the tightening bolts of the rolling bearing cap. It will cause abnormal wear on the camshaft.
Abnormal wear of the camshaft will cause the gap between the camshaft and the seated bearing to expand, and radial deviation will occur when the camshaft moves, resulting in abnormal noise. Abnormal wear will also lead to the expansion of the gap between the cam and the tappet of the hydraulic press, and the combination of the cam and the tappet of the hydraulic press will cause abnormal noise.
(3) The camshaft sometimes leads to serious failures such as asset rupture. The reasons for the difficult problems include hydraulic tappet breakage or severe wear, serious poor intake system, and poor camshaft quality management methods and camshafts. Cracked timing gear, etc.
(4) In some cases, common camshaft failures are caused by human factors, especially when the camshaft is not properly disassembled and disassembled during engine maintenance.
