How to Control the Flow of the Submersible Pump?

  In the application of submersible pumps, the issue of how to control the flow of submersible pumps has been paid attention to.

  Methods of controlling the flow of submersible pumps include outlet valve opening adjustment, bypass valve adjustment, impeller diameter adjustment and speed control.

How to Control the Flow of the Submersible Pump?(pic1)

  In the outlet valve adjustment, the pump is connected in series with the outlet pipe adjustment valve. Its actual effect is like adopting a new submersible pump system. In this way, the maximum output pressure of the submersible pump does not change, but the flow curve is attenuated.

  In the bypass valve adjustment, the submersible pump valve is connected in parallel with the submersible pump. Its actual effect is as if a new pump system is adopted. The maximum output pressure of the submersible pump changes, and the flow curve characteristics also change.

  The method of adjusting the diameter of the impeller does not use any external components, and the flow characteristic curve changes with the diameter.

  Speed regulation controls the flow of the submersible pump. The change of the impeller speed changes the flow curve of the submersible pump directly. The characteristics of the curve do not change. When the speed decreases, the curve becomes flat, and the indenter and maximum flow are reduced.

  In addition, the most practical method is to determine a reasonable flow range according to the use requirements when purchasing a submersible pump.
