Failure of Submersible Pump Operation

The current too large when the submersible pump is running is related to the adjustment of the pump valve and the mechanical failure of the motor.The following are the main reasons.
Motor guide bearing wear, water pump rubber bearing wear, seal ring wear. Motor or water pump bearing wear will make the submersible pump in a mechanically abnormal working condition, which will damage the submersible pump and burn out the stator winding seriously. The treatment method is to repair or replace damaged bearings and sleeves.
The flow rate of the submersible pump is too large or too small. Using a flow beyond the scope of use will cause the motor to overload.The treatment method is to adjust the valve appropriately to reduce the flow of the centrifugal water pump or the mixed-flow water pump so that the flow of the water pump is within the normal use range.
If the shaft of the submersible pump is bent and the bearing is not concentric, it should be repaired immediately, straighten the bent shaft, replace the unqualified bearing, and reassemble the submersible pump.
Wear of thrust bearing, wear of submersible pump impeller and lower cover will cause submersible pump to be in an abnormal working state mechanically, and damage the submersible pump severely. Check the reasons for the wear of the thrust bearing, whether the damage of the mechanical seal at the shaft extension end causes sand and impurities to enter the motor cavity and cause excessive wear of the thrust bearing.
If it is caused by the mechanical seal, the mechanical seal at the shaft extension end should be replaced while repairing or replacing worn thrust bearings, thrust discs, impellers and lower cover plates.
