Causes and Solutions of Submersible Pump Failure

  The following are the main reasons and solutions for insufficient flow or no water output during submersible pump operation. 

  The installation height of the submersible pump is too high, which makes the impeller immersion depth insufficient, resulting in a decrease in the water output of the submersible pump.Control the allowable deviation of the installation elevation of the pump, it cannot be expanded at will.

  The direction of the submersible pump is reversed. Before the test operation of the pump, run the motor idly and check the steering to make it consistent with the pump.If the above situation occurs during use, check whether the power phase sequence has changed.  

  The outlet valve cannot be opened. Check the valve in time and maintain the valve frequently.  

  The outlet pipe is not unblocked or the impeller is blocked. It is necessary to clean up the blockage of the pipeline and impeller, and often salvage the debris in the reservoir. 

  The wear ring at the bottom of the pump is severely worn or blocked by debris.Replace the lower wear ring, clean up debris.  

  The density or viscosity of the pumped liquid is too high. To re-equip the matching pumps. 

  The impeller is off or damaged. Reinstall or replace the impeller. 

  When multiple pumps share pipeline output, no one-way valve is installed or the one-way valve is not sealed tightly.Install the one-way valve and replace the one-way valve seal.
