How to Judge If There Is Gasoline or Mixed Oil in the Chain Saw?

The chain saw uses a two-stroke engine, which is small,powerful and durable. The two-stroke gasoline engine of the chain saw does not have the oil lubrication function. The oil lubrication is realized by mixing oil. The volume ratio of oil to gasoline is about 1:25.
If pure gasoline is added, the engine will be damaged due to insufficient lubrication, such as pulling cylinders and full tiles. Therefore, mixed oil must be added. If you forget whether to mix engine oil in gasoline,the following method can determine whether the oil in the chain saw is gasoline or mixed oil.
The first way is to distinguish from the color. Most two-stroke engine oils have a color, generally pink. The proportioned gasoline will also have a certain color. Unmatched gasoline is yellow or colorless, so it can be distinguished from the color whether it is mixed with oil.
If the color cannot be distinguished, you can also use qualitative test paper to distinguish it. The gasoline will evaporate slowly when dripping on the filter paper, basically leaving no traces.
The engine oil does not evaporate, after the gasoline evaporates, the engine oil still stays on the filter paper. Therefore, the method can also determine whether gasoline has been blended.
