Before introducing the use of torque wrenches, first understand that torque wrenches are also called torque wrenches or torque wrenches. Torque is the product of force and distance. When tightening screws, bolts, nuts and other threaded fasteners, you need to control the amount of torque applied to ensure the thread. Tighten and not damage the thread due to excessive torque, so use a torque wrench to operate. Next, take a look at the instructions for the use of commonly used torque wrenches and the precautions when using them.
(1) The opening size of the selected torque wrench must match the size of the bolt or nut. If the opening of the wrench is too large, it may slip off and damage the hexagon of the screw. In the maintenance of imported automobiles, attention should be paid to the selection of wrenches in metric and inch systems; The principle of selection of wrenches is generally to choose socket wrenches first, followed by box wrenches, open-end wrenches again, and adjustable wrenches last.
(2) In order to prevent the wrench from being damaged and slipping off, the pulling force should be applied to the thicker side of the opening. This is especially important for adjustable wrenches with larger forces to prevent the opening of the "eight" shape and damage the nut and wrench.
(3) Torque wrenches are designed according to the strength of human hands. When encountering tighter threaded parts, you cannot hit the wrench with a hammer; except for socket wrenches, no other wrenches can be fitted with an afterburner to prevent damage to the wrench or Threaded connection.
(4) When using a torque wrench, it is most suitable when you hear a "pop"
