How to Prevent Water From Entering the Motor of Submersible Pump?

The motor of the submersible pump works for a long time, so it is very important to prevent the motor from entering the water. Once the motor enters the water, it may damage the submersible pump bearing and winding insulation, burn the motor, not only increase the maintenance time and maintenance cost, but also delay the normal operation.
So, how to prevent water from entering the motor of the submersible pump?
Firstly, check the insulation resistance between the pump motor windings and the ground regularly. The value should be greater than the insulation value of the submersible pump at different temperatures. Otherwise, the machine should be disassembled and repaired. If the water enters, it should be dried and the grounding should be checked.
Secondly,check the sealing condition of the oil chamber. After the submersible pump has been used in the specified medium for half a year, the sealing condition of the oil chamber should be checked. If emulsion is found in the oil, clean the oil chamber according to the regulations, and replace the mechanical seals if necessary.
In addition,the submersible pumps used under bad working conditions should be overhauled frequently. If the water leakage probe alarms after the oil is changed for a short time, the mechanical seal should be repaired. If the mechanical seal is damaged, it should be replaced or repaired.
Thirdly, check and repair the sealing device for leaks. Most of the water leakage failures of submersible pumps are caused by the aging and wear of the sealing device. At this time, replacing the new seal can achieve the purpose of preventing water ingress.
Finally, check whether the leak probe is malfunctioning.The failure of the leaking probe is generally caused by the broken wire of the leaking probe.
