The Structure of the Guide Bar

A chain saw is a hand saw powered by a gasoline engine. It is mainly used for logging and lumbering. It mainly relies on the transverse movement of the interlaced L-shaped blades on the saw chain to perform the cutting action.
The guide bar is a part of the chain saw transmission system, which can provide support and guide the saw chain.
The structure, shape and size of the guide bar not only affect the friction loss between the saw chain and the guide bar, but also have a direct impact on the power consumption of sawing wood and the quality of sawing.
Generally, the guide bar includes the saw chain inlet, guide rail, guide bar groove, lubricating oil hole, tail, head and other structures. The most important thing is the groove width, which determines the type of saw chain used.
