2. The working fluid of the hydraulic wrench is hydraulic oil, and alcohol and water cannot be used as the working fluid of the hydraulic wrench. Of course, it has to be clean, pure hydraulic oil can be used to make a hydraulic wrench.
3. The hydraulic wrench likes to clean very much, especially in the oil inlet and oil outlet, there should be no sludge;
4. If you know that the hydraulic wrench will not be used for a long time, you must be prepared for rust prevention. The general anti-rust method is to apply vaseline to the hydraulic wrench for anti-rust treatment, and then store the vaseline in the original packaging box in a dry room with a suitable temperature.
5. In order to prevent dirt from contaminating the working oil, the joints of the connecting pipes in the hydraulic system must be replaced with threaded plugs.
6. High-pressure hoses will reduce their strength after long-term use, so we need to replace more high-pressure hoses after a period of use.
7. Before using the hydraulic wrench, you must read the instructions of the hydraulic wrench carefully to avoid accidental injury.
8. When preloading, the pressure must be strictly controlled. For our safety, we cannot use overpressure.
What are the common faults of hydraulic wrenches?
1. The phenomenon of no power or no operation, no power or no operation is due to the long-term use of the hydraulic wrench, wear and tear, the parts are not updated in time or the maintenance is not in place, causing the hydraulic wrench to rust or loosen. When working, it will be found that the hydraulic wrench is weak or inflexible, cannot meet the production needs, and will seriously damage the ratchet and pawl parts.
2. Poor oil leakage and pressure, deformation of cylinder sealing ring caused by high-intensity work, poor oil leakage and pressure, or high oil temperature caused by long-term operation of the pump station, and oil leakage from the wrench head. The main reason is that the hydraulic wrench is improperly operated, the wrench is used unreasonably, the working time is too long or the working intensity is too high, and the liquid level is exceeded. Pressure wrench loads cause hydraulic wrench damage, resulting in oil leakage or pressure failure.
Ways to extend the service life of hydraulic wrenches:
1. Operators must undergo operational training and special assessments to determine whether their abilities are competent for the job before they can operate.
2. Selection of hydraulic oil: wear-resistant hydraulic oil must be used. The hydraulic oil density is 0.884 g/cm2, the flash point is 255 C, the flow point is -9 C, the viscosity is 68 cm2/s (40 C), 8.8 cm2/( 100 C) with a viscosity index of 102. This hydraulic oil can stabilize the hydraulic system of the hydraulic torque wrench, reduce the influence of oil temperature on the viscosity, improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the system, and is beneficial to the sealing performance of the hydraulic torque wrench cylinder.
3. The oil temperature of the control system: the minimum oil temperature allowed by the system is 25 degrees Celsius, and the best working temperature is 35-45 degrees Celsius, which is not good for the system. When the specified value is exceeded, the system should be checked in time.
4. Check and find problems in time: When the hydraulic system fails (such as abnormal movement, unstable oil pressure, system vibration, and oil temperature rises too fast, etc.), the reasons should be analyzed in time to eliminate the fault, and the hydraulic wrench should not be allowed to work with illness. cause a major accident.
5. Regularly check and tighten the pipe joints to prevent loosening and oil leakage.
6. Operators are not allowed to disassemble hydraulic components without permission. When a fault occurs, the equipment maintenance technician should repair the equipment in time, remove the fault, or contact the manufacturer for further maintenance.
