Through the comparative analysis of the performance of the electric pump and the electromagnetic pump, the electric pump has obvious advantages, so it is widely used in the modern automobile industry.
High oil pressure: The electric pump can adjust the oil pressure through the pressure valve to provide the pressure that meets the requirements of the low-pressure oil circuit of the engine.
Due to the use of electromagnetic induction reciprocating motion, the electromagnetic pump absorbs oil by vacuum, the oil outlet pressure is low, the average oil outlet pressure is 1.6bar, the exhaust and oil supply effects are poor, and the starting effect is not significantly improved.
High efficiency and low energy consumption: The electric pump motor works smoothly at high speed, and the stable working current is only 2-3A, which is efficient, stable and low energy consumption.
The pulsed working current used by the electromagnetic pump is 1 second/time, and the maximum is 12A. The copper wire is easy to burn out and generate heat under high current, which has potential safety hazards, low efficiency, high energy consumption and loud noise.
Low electromagnetic interference: The electric pump is the working principle of the eccentric rotor pump driven by the motor. In terms of electromagnetic interference, it does not interfere with other components, nor is it interfered by other electronic components, so as to ensure the stable and normal operation of the electronically controlled engine; the product is approved by Cummins in the United States.
The high current and pulsed operation of the electromagnetic pump is a great disturbance to the outside world, especially for electronically controlled and intelligent engines, and military products are absolutely prohibited.
Pulse current and pressure influence: The electric pump motor works at high speed, and the stable working current is between 2-3A, stable and without impact. Electromagnetic pump pulse working mode, 1 second/time, maximum 12A; the repeated alternating current may have a negative impact on the battery, other electrical components of the engine; life.
The impact of pump failure on the oil circuit system: The electric pump uses the internal pressure valve of the pump to adjust the internal circulation, and a separate one-way valve bypass oil circuit is set up to ensure the normal operation of the low-pressure oil circuit of the engine even if the pump fails. The oil circuit of the electromagnetic pump is designed to pass through the inside of the pump. When the pump fails and the components are damaged, the oil circuit may be blocked and the engine cannot work normally;
Control method: The electric pump can be directly controlled by the switch, the ignition switch, and supports ECM control, which is suitable for electronically controlled engines, and the brushless pump can be controlled intelligently. At present, the electromagnetic pump is only controlled by a switch.
