Hydraulic cylinders are an important part of automobiles and excavators. Generally, the main oil seal is prone to deformation and aging under long-term high temperature, high pressure and high speed movement. No matter how good the oil seal is, there is a possibility of deformation in this case, and the probability of deformation of a good oil seal is small. After the Y-type oil seal is deformed, there is no tension in the sealing lip, resulting in oil leakage.
Hydraulic cylinder mechanism
A large amount of dust and impurities will adhere to the cylinder rod during work. The dust-proof oil seal can prevent dust and impurities from entering the cylinder and prevent damage to the cylinder and oil seal. When the dust-proof oil seal is damaged, the impurities and dust directly enter the cylinder head and cause direct damage. Oil seals and oil cylinders will wear out within tens of hours in the case of a large amount of dust, and the inner lip will be obviously worn.
The oil cylinder is blackened, the inner wall is scratched, and the lead of the additive in the spray on the inner wall adheres to the surface of the oil cylinder under long-term high-temperature friction, which indicates that the wear-resistant ring needs to be replaced. Wear rings (cups) are very important in the cylinder, one is for wear resistance, and the other is to eliminate the impact of lateral force. If it is not replaced after wear, the oil cylinder will be blackened, the main oil seal will seep oil (because the impact of the lateral force cannot be effectively eliminated, resulting in the deformation of the main oil seal), and the cylinder will be pulled. Personally recommend the wear-resistant ring made of nylon with glass fiber added, because the physical properties of the wear-resistant ring of this material are comparable to those of bronze materials, and have good performance in terms of wear rate, anti-pull cylinder performance and the ability to accommodate metal chips. .
The internal leakage of the oil cylinder is much rarer than the external leakage, because the internal leakage is not easy to be found. Internal leakage will cause many failures, such as weak cylinder, slow speed, slipping of the cylinder, and in severe cases it will not work directly. The above situation is also caused by the failure of other components.
In fact, it is easy to judge the internal leakage of the oil cylinder. Lift the working device, keep the front section of the boom and the stick level with the ground, turn off the engine, turn on the power and the pilot, and pull the handle of the stick (the stick swings out). When the standby time is large, the oil cylinder is normal, and when it is the same, the internal leakage of the oil cylinder is serious.
