Introduction to the use of torque wrenches
What are the introductions to the use of torque wrenches? I believe that many of my friends cannot use torque wrenches proficiently. Choose the right wrench
For example, in the use of Schmidt torque wrenches, first select a medium-range torque wrench according to the requirements of the measurement workpiece. The measured torque value should not be less than 20% of the torque device in use. It is not suitable to use a too large range For the reinforcement of small torque parts, the torque device with a small range can not be used over the range;
When using a torque wrench, first connect the square tenon of the wrench to the auxiliary accessories (such as sockets, various batch nozzles) to ensure that the connection is no problem. Before tightening the torque, set the force value that needs to be strengthened, lock the locking device, adjust the direction switch to the direction of force, and then operate 5-6 times in rapid succession during use to make the internal components of the wrench on The special lubricant can be fully lubricated, making the torque wrench more accurate and durable.
When measuring, the hand should grasp the effective range of the handle, and apply force slowly along the direction perpendicular to the torque wrench shell, until the torque wrench makes a "tower" sound, at which time the torque wrench has reached the preset torque value. After the work piece has been put on force, the force should be released in time to avoid damage to other parts. In the process of applying force, in accordance with the national standard instrument operating specifications, the deviation of the verticality should not exceed 10 degrees. The vertical deviation in the horizontal direction should not exceed 3 degrees, and the operator should ensure that the range of up, down, left, and right force does not exceed 15 degrees during use;
In order not to affect the measurement results due to the deviation in the horizontal and vertical directions, when measuring, a stable vertical downward force value should be applied to the force control end, and then manually add some force, so that the used value is more accurate.
Torque wrench reading: If it is a torque instrument with a meter, directly read the data indicated by the pointer as the measured data value; if it is a sleeve plus a secondary scale indicator, read the scale value on the main scale first, and then add the secondary The sum of the scale values on the scale or micrometer tube is the measured data value.
