  Hydraulic tells you 5 basic faults common to magnetic pumps

  1. The bearing of the magnetic pump is damaged. The hydraulic wrench transmits power to the working head through the high-pressure oil pipe and the hydraulic pump, which drives the working head to tighten or loosen the nut. The hydraulic pump can be driven by electricity or compressed air. The working head of the hydraulic wrench is mainly composed of three parts, the frame (also called the shell), the oil cylinder and the transmission parts. The output force of the oil cylinder, the piston rod of the oil cylinder and the transmission part form a motion pair. The distance from the center of the oil cylinder to the center of the transmission component is the hydraulic wrench amplification arm. The oil cylinder output multiplied by the arm is the theoretical output torque of the hydraulic wrench. The actual output torque is smaller than the theoretical output torque. The material used in the bearings of CQB magnetic pumps is high-density (unit: g/cm3 or kg/m3) carbon (C). If the pump is cut off from water or there are impurities in the pump, it will cause damage to the bearings. If the coaxiality requirements between the inner and outer magnetic rotors of the cylindrical coupling (Coupling) are not guaranteed, it will directly influence the life of the bearing.

  2, the head is insufficient. The reasons for this fault are: air in the conveying medium (substance that plays a decisive role), damage to the impeller (referring to the wheel with moving blades), insufficient speed, excessive specific gravity of the conveyed liquid, and flow rate (unit : Cubic meters per second) is too large.

  3. The magnetic pump shaft is broken. The material (Material) used for the pump shaft of the CQB magnetic pump is 99% oxygen (oxidation) aluminum (Al) porcelain. The main reason for the pump shaft to be broken is because the pump is running dry and the bearings are dry ground. Twist off. When the pump is disassembled and inspected, it can be seen that the bearings have been severely worn. The main way to prevent the pump from breaking is to avoid the dry running of the pump.

  4. Flow rate (unit: cubic meter per second) is insufficient. The main reasons for insufficient flow are: damage to the impeller (referring to the disk with moving blades), insufficient speed, excessive lift, and blockage of debris in the pipe.

  5. The magnetic pump cannot pump liquid. The failure of the magnetic pump to pump liquid is the most prone to fault (fault) of the pump, and there are many reasons for it. Firstly, check whether the suction pipe of the pump is leaking, check whether the air in the suction pipe is discharged, whether the amount of liquid filled in the magnetic pump is sufficient, whether there is any obstruction in the suction pipe, and check whether the pump is reversed. (Especially after the motor is changed or the power supply line is overhauled), attention should also be paid to whether the suction height of the pump is too high. If you still can't solve the problem through the above inspections, you can disassemble the pump and check to see if the pump shaft is broken. You should also check if the moving ring and static ring of the pump are intact, and whether the entire rotor can move slightly in the axial direction. If the axial movement is difficult (difficult), you can check whether the carbon bearing (bearing) is too tightly combined with the pump shaft.
